The emotions subsided, so we can share with you a brief account of this day that was special to us. It was spaciously good, it was delicious… and we were incredibly happy that so many people decided to spend this special Friday evening with us.
Our Chef’s table that evening turned into a culinary summary of Hewelke’s work, so there were dishes on the table that you ordered most often, that you praised the most, at which the stars cried when the menu changed and you had to replace them with something else. In a nutshell – the Chef’s table featured a list of all the dishes our kitchen had created so far. Well, what can I say – everything is absolutely delicious!
Of course, it was also a day of summing up, memories, tears of joy, and laughter until late hours. Our entire team celebrated that day; we had fun together with the Guests. We are happy that despite hard work, throughout this year we created a galaxy-sized family of Hewelke, which supports each other every step of the way. Not forgetting the element that connects our team – the only and unique Michał Szupieńko. Thanks to him, we work the way you like the most. Michał made our waiters so open that the service is not bookish, but unique. He trained his replacement, Ania, very well, knowing that she would take care of every detail, even the flight to the moon and back. Besides the year of Hewelke’s existence, this day was their day!
At least, but not last, the people without whom Hewelke would not exist – Chef Patron Marcin Popielarz and Chef of the Hewelke Kitchen – Alyona Orel. Thanks to them, you embark on a #streetfoodtravel journey, thanks to them you enjoy playing at #streetfoodfighters, thanks to them you can order the best of the best dishes on the menu. In their everyday lives, hidden in the kitchen, they shone like stars that night. And not just as stars… Alyona and Marcin are undisputed stars who are surrounded by a team of great chefs who make up Hewelke.
