Today is a great day for the gastronomy of the Tricity. For the first time in history, restaurants from our region have officially made it onto the prestigious Michelin Guide. With great pride, we look at these pages today, because our Restaurant is featured on them. Dear Guests, Bib Gourmand for Hewelke Restaurant & Bakery! We have achieved this!
A huge emotion!
Being featured in the Michelin Guide is definitely the most imaginative distinction in the world of gastronomy. It’s the equivalent of the film Oscars (after all, several films have been made about the very Michelin Star). The culinary Holy Grail. A goal that chefs strive for across every geographical region.
The Hewelke on the pages of the Michelin Guide is the fulfillment of our dreams!
This is also a fantastic appreciation of the work the Hewelke team! Starting with Chef Alyona Orel, through Food and Beverage Manager Michał Szupieńko, to all those people who every day make sure that our Guests receive the most delicious dishes and baked goods under the Sun!

Bib Gourmand for Hewelke – what does it mean?
The Michelin Guide first reached the hands of gastronomy enthusiasts in 1900. Since then, it has become a cult magazine, and the Stars it awards have grown to iconic status.
However, the Michelin Guide is much more extensive. Since 1997, another distinction has been included in the guide: the Bib Gourmand. It is awarded to restaurants that represent „good quality, good value cooking”. This means good value for money.
So with pride we will be able to display this award before entering our restaurant!
