Autumn is upon us with the #Streetfoodfighters, but this time we want to invite you to a culinary tournament with a cosmic prize! We guarantee more excitement than on a football field!
We know that you can't wait for the date of the first dinner under the sign of #streetfoodfighters. We had long wondered whether it would look like the previous one, i.e., whether the chefs would have to compete with each other. However, in connection with the creation of the Follow the Quality Foundation, which was founded by Marcin Popielarz, among others, we want to give a chance to someone else this time.
How will the new #Streetfoodfighters be different from previous editions?
We want to give young chefs the chance to prove themselves who have never had the opportunity to lead a kitchen before, so that they can fight for their future! We want to show how great a profession a chef is, we want to restore its glory, we want to motivate young chefs to take action and give them the opportunity to enjoy the feeling of being the boss in the kitchen!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for teams of 4 players – chefs who will take on a rival team that is just as good. You can submit your applications to: hello@followthequality.org
Eight teams will participate in the tournament, which will begin on October 27th. Every month, one „match” will be held, and you will choose the winners. In April, there will be a „grand finale” – a battle for first place and a trip to foreign, star-studded restaurants!
The main prize in the competition
The main prize in this year’s edition of #streetfoodfighters is stipend for the winning team, sponsored by The Follow the Quality Foundation – a foundation that supports young chefs by giving them the opportunity to gain experience in the best restaurants, in starred restaurants in Europe.

The task of each team will be:
- Registration of a 4-person team
- Giving an exceptional name to the team
- Establishing the competition menu
- Adapting to a specific food cost
- Preparedness to arrive in Gdańsk at the specified time
- The readiness of the entire team to travel abroad (in case of winning the entire tournament)
- The readiness to „report” about the departure in the indicated social media channels
